Mission

The Rick Pankow Foundation provides timely and flexible financial help for essential living expenses to individuals and families impacted by a cancer-related illness, as well as college scholarships for students preparing for careers in the horticultural industry.

The Foundation was started in September of 2001 by friends & family to allow Rick Pankow’s legacy to continue in the spirit of giving. Rick Pankow passed away at the age of 43 of Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

24th Annual Trees of Hope

The Foundation has made arrangements with EvergreenHealth Halvorson Cancer Center to deliver 12” live potted Alberta Spruce Trees to the rooms of 140 patients in December. Our goal is to have all 140 trees sponsored by supporters of the Foundation for a suggested donation of $125 each. It is a way to continue sharing the spirit of Christmas with a family going through a difficult time and a way to raise funds for the Foundation so we can continue to support families with meaningful donation amounts.

Where Do Your Donations Go?

Cancer can be financially devastating to individuals and their families. Your donations help keep these families on their feet and allows them to focus on their treatment & healing. Financial grants pay for rent, utilities, medical bills, car insurance, and other essentials.
