Mission

The Rick Pankow Foundation assists individuals & families impacted by cancer by offering practical and flexible funding for life expenses that can accumulate while focusing on treatment. The Foundation also offers scholarships for students studying horticulture, as this was Rick’s profession and a source of joy.

The Foundation was started in 2001 after Rick’s passing, allowing his legacy to live on in the spirit of giving. We are a non-profit organization helping "real people with real needs" in Washington State. We are primarily run by volunteers, along with family and friends.
