“Needing to work on top of going to school full time has been tough on me this year. Being awarded this scholarship guaranteed that I could afford to attend this quarter and was able to keep some savings from the past few months, rather than sparing it for school. This degree will be a huge step up in my career and has pointed me to what that will be: I plan to become an arborist after I graduate. Thanks so much for your help, it is greatly appreciated!!”

'‘I want to express what a huge blessing this [scholarship] has been to me. Because of generous people like you supporting students like me, my dreams are coming true. I will be graduating [UW] in Spring of 2023 with my Bachelors in Environmental Science and will then be starting a 6 month study abroad program in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines at the Richmond Vail Academy focusing on Restoration of Ecology. I will be assisting with repairing damage caused by a volcanic eruption in 2021 and helping to educate the local population about growing gardens and being more self-sustaining. Thank you for believing in me! I will not let you down.'‘

“I am attending North Idaho College to study Forestry/Wildlife/Range Management in the Fall of 2022!
I have always been extremely passionate about the outdoors and agriculture so this pathway was the perfect fit for my future career! This scholarship helps me reach this dream in many ways, but most importantly allows me the freedom to dedicate my time to the outdoors by volunteering with local agriculture groups. I plan to use my education to be an advocate for this way of life and continue my involvement in Farming, Rodeo, and the overall Western Way of life!”
